Jennifer Lopez has been a licensed agent since 2002. Born in Ontario Canada, she was raised a California farm girl. She has recently moved to Thousand Oaks from Florida, where she also works with Prudential, and enjoys being back in California. Jennifer holds a BA in Psychology. After working as a social worker for 15 years with children and families, many of whom had no homes, Jennifer gained a greater understanding and appreciation for the importance of helping people to find the right home. “Home is more than just a structure. When I made the choice to leave social work, real estate was an easy transition for me. It’s one more way to help people through an often difficult and emotional process.” Her personal areas of expertise are first-time homebuyers (“I love assisting first time buyers!”), investment properties, and second home/vacation properties. Regarding relocation experience, “I should write a book about that! Having relocated several times myself, I certainly relate to the stress of this circumstance, I understand the entire process, and can see the whole picture as it relates to buying and selling. It’s important to have an agent my clients can trust to handle all the fine details they are too overwhelmed to handle themselves.”
